A branding and graphic design agency based in Istanbul
Branding and graphic design is the work that makes a business speak the same visual language everywhere it appears, from its logo and business cards to its catalog and product packaging. At Granobra we treat these not as individual visuals ordered one by one, but as a single connected visual system.
For many brands the problem is not that the design is poor but that it was produced in pieces. The logo was drawn somewhere years ago, the catalog was built on the printer's template, and the packaging was designed by the manufacturer. Each piece is acceptable on its own; side by side, they do not look like they belong to the same brand. We start by making the brand's visual rules clear and then apply those rules to every piece of material you need.
Which service for which need?
As a graphic design agency we do not recommend the same package to every business. Where to start depends on where your brand stands today.
If you are launching a brand or refreshing an existing one
The starting point is the logo. In our logo design work we create a vector-based mark that stays legible on a small label and on a large sign. A logo on its own is not a brand; the corporate identity work that defines your colours, typefaces and usage rules is what makes the logo look the same everywhere, from business cards to presentation templates.
If you take your products to sales teams, dealers and trade fairs
Catalog design is how you present your product range in an orderly and persuasive way. We handle page planning, layout and proofing, and prepare the catalog for both print and digital use. Half of a good catalog is photography; if your product images fall short, we solve it within the same process through professional photography.
If your product goes on a shelf or into a shipping box
Packaging is the first place a customer physically meets your brand. In our packaging design work we consider the box, the pack and the label together with the competing products on the shelf, the production technique and the mandatory information areas.
How the designs work together
Once brand guidelines are set up properly, every later job gets faster: the catalog uses the same colour and type system, the packaging carries the same logo under the same rules, and social media visuals and presentations are derived from that system. When new material is needed, you do not have to make every decision from scratch.
The same system carries over to digital. If printed material shows one brand and the website shows another, customer trust suffers. That is why we run identity work together with our web design team and make colour and typography decisions that work both in print and on screen.
How we work
- Introduction and brief: We listen to your brand, your audience, your competitors and where the design will be used.
- Research and direction: We study the visual language of your industry and set the design direction that will set your brand apart.
- Design and presentation: We present the alternatives together with the reasoning behind each decision.
- Revision and approval: We refine the design based on your feedback.
- Delivery and rollout: We deliver the approved work as files ready for print and digital use, and for printed work such as catalogs we can also manage the printing process.
Frequently asked questions
What does a graphic design agency do?
It designs a brand's visual identity and applies it to materials such as the logo, stationery, catalogs, packaging and digital visuals. The aim is not to produce attractive one-off pieces but to make the brand recognisable everywhere.
Can we work together on a logo only or a catalog only?
Yes. We also take on single pieces of work. If you already have a corporate identity, we design the new piece to fit it; if not, we recommend at least agreeing on the basic colour and type rules together.
What is the difference between a logo and a corporate identity?
A logo is the mark that represents your brand. A corporate identity is the system that defines how that mark is applied together with colours, typefaces and usage rules. A logo alone does not create consistency; the brand guidelines do.
In which formats do you deliver design files?
We deliver logo and identity work as vector source files (AI, EPS, PDF) and as image formats suitable for web and office use (PNG, JPEG). For printed work we prepare print-ready files, and for digital catalogs a version suited to screens.
How are the timeline and budget set?
They depend on the scope: a single logo and a multi-page product catalog do not take the same time or cost the same. After the first meeting we prepare a proposal that states the scope, the schedule and the cost clearly.
